What if thePixar character Ratatouilledecided to pursue a career in cleaning instead of cooking? A U.K. man has a good idea about how it might turn out.
According to theBBC, late last year, Rodney Holbrook started noticing that he would leave his shed in Builth Wells, Wales, messy and wake up to find the outbuilding magically tidied.
Confused about how the shed could clean itself, the wildlife photographer and retired postman set up a night-vision camera to get to the bottom of the mystery.
After checking the footage, Holbrook discovered a mouse was behind the late-night cleanings. The night-vision camera captured a rodent neatly putting away loose materials around Holbrook’s shed.

Holbrook named his animal cleaner “Welsh Tidy Mouse” and has let the rodent continue his work for the past two months.
“Ninety-nine times out of 100, the mouse will tidy up throughout the night,” the 75-year-old told BBC, adding, “It is incredible really that they put them all back in the box; I think it’s possible that they enjoy it.”

In Holbrook’s footage of the mouse, the animal lifts objects — including some larger than Welsh Tidy Mouse’s tiny frame — and carries them over to a small box on a workbench, where the rodent places the things neatly inside.

Holbrook toldThe Guardianthat he has started testing the mouse’s lifting skills but leaving increasingly larger objects around the shed; so far, Welsh Tidy Mouse has handled it all gracefully.
“I couldn’t believe it when I saw that the mouse was tidying up,” Holbrook said to the outlet.
