Only good days have been inSZA’s mind since the release ofSOS.

The R&B superstar’sGrammy-nominatedalbumSOScelebrated its one-year anniversary on Dec. 9, and sheposted to Instagramto celebrate the major milestones that she’s reached since its release.

In the caption of a post featuring theSOSalbum artwork, she opened up about how thrilling the past year has been and how she still struggles to grasp the amount of accolades her sophomore studio album has received.

“a day late but Happy 1 year anniversary to an album that is ACTIVELY CHANGING MY LIFE .. like rn currently changing my life,” the “Kill Bill” singer, 34, began her post. “I haven’t processed this year AT ALL cause it’s still happening. this is beyond my wildest dreams . I never imagined we’d accomplish a fraction of the accolades that came from this.”

“but I have to express the immense GRATITUDE I have for every person that made this possible . Every person that’s been apart of this journey,” the singer (whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe). “Thank you to GOD and to my incredible TEAM and My FAMILY . My ancestors . Thank you to every person that streamed this album ,came to a show , blasted it in traffic and connected w ANY part of me.”

The post concluded with a sweet note: “To everyone that continues to believe in me and be patient w me as I figure it all out . [you’re] my driving force . I love you 🫶🏾💗 #campforever #SOSFOREVER”

SZA dropped the highly anticipated follow-up to her 2017 breakout debut,Ctrl, in late 2022. The project received widespread acclaim upon its release and spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on theBillboard 200 chart. Several tracks charted on the Billboard Hot 100, including the hit “Kill Bill,” which peaked at No. 1.

For much of 2023, she promoted the release out on the road on her first-ever arena tour.

The “Snooze” singer has since garnered a whopping nine Grammy nominations for her efforts onSOS— making her the most-nominated artist at the 66th Grammy Awards. The project is competing in the coveted album of the year category and the single “Kill Bill” is up for both song and record of the year, among other nominations.

Even though the singer-songwriter is still relishing in the success of her 2022 album, she’s also begun teasing her next project,Lana. Shortly after making her anniversary post on Instagram, SZA shared six variations of album artwork for the upcoming, undated release.

Three of the shots feature images of her in baggy jeans and a jersey on a farm next tohorses,pigsandchickens. Meanwhile, the other options show herposingon a chair wearing a sweet white ensemble and loafers, in afieldshrouded in greenery and in the midst of undressing in atent.

The star first announcedLanaat a special Brooklyn concert in September, explaining to the audience at the time that she hadplans to release a deluxe version ofSOSwith upwards of seven to 10 new songs.

More recently, she’s expressed thatLanahas become something bigger than a deluxe, updatingVarietyabout its timeline in a late November interview.

“It was gonna be [SOS] outtakes and some new songs, but it’s become more than I expected,” SZA told the outlet. “It was gonna be really soft, because I had made all my screaming points, and I just wanted to glide and not think [too much] and get out of my own head — I was so happy to say some s— that didn’t mean a f—ing thing.

She added, “It’s definitely turning into its own album… and I guess I could drop a new album randomly, because no one’s actually expecting that from me right now.”
