Happy Mother’s Day,Kate Middleton!
In honor of the annual holiday, which is known as “Mothering Sunday” and celebrated in the U.K. this year on March 14, Kate andPrince William— who are parents toPrince George, 7,Princess Charlotte, 5, andPrince Louis, 2 — shared a photo of the cake their kids made.
Along with the image of the homemade cake, a throwback photo of Kate and her mother Carole Middleton was shared.
To celebrate the holiday last year, the parents of three shared apreviously unseen photoon social media showingPrincess Charlotteand Kate sporting matching smiles as the little royal rides on her mom’s back. In the background,Prince Georgecan be seen enjoying a piggyback ride from dad William.
The photo was actually from fall 2018, when the Cambridge familygathered for their annual Christmas card photoat their country home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall.

After spending much of the year at the country home during lockdown, the Cambridge family recently returned to London, as schools have reopened.

On Thursday, Kate andPrince Williamstepped out in London to congratulate teachers involved in the re-opening of their school following lockdown. During the outing,Prince Williamspoke out against claims of racism within the royal family made duringPrince HarryandMeghan Markle’s sit-down interview withOprah Winfreyon Sunday.
When asked if he had spoken to Harry after the Oprah interview, he added, “No, I haven’t spoken to him yet, but I will do.”
