Post Maloneis as excited as Swifties are to hear his collaboration withTaylor Swift!
During an interview withApple Music’s Zane Lowe on Thursday to discuss his upcomingpregame performance of “America the Beautiful"at theSuper Bowlon Sunday, the rapper and singer, 28, also teased a little bit about what it was like working with Swift.
“She’s amazing,” he said. “She’s so sweet and so kind and talented and she hit me up and said, ‘Let’s do it.’ And I was like, ‘Hell yeah.'”
But that’s about as much detail as he provided on the song, which is called “Fortnight,” per the tracklist Swift, 34,revealed on Mondayfor her upcoming albumThe Tortured Poets Department.
Malone said he hadn’t even heard the track yet. When Lowe said he was excited to hear the song, the rapper replied, “Oh, me too.”
When Lowe, 50, continued, saying he always wondered if artists were being truthful when they said they haven’t seen a movie they did or heard a song they sang on with another artist, Malone said Swift is “just massive.”
“So I’d imagine she was pretty Fort Knox about that kind of, right?” he added.
Along with “Fortnight,“The Tortured Poets Departmentalso includes a collaboration withFlorence + The Machinecalled “Florida!!!”
