The pinnacle ofcollege basketballseason is finally here asMarch Madnesskicks off this month.
Basketball fans are filling out brackets with theirfavored college basketball teamsand clearing their calendars to watch the most anticipated games.
Though theNCAA Division I men’s basketball tournamentofficially starts on March 19, the excitement picks up later this month with the semifinals, dubbed the Sweet 16.
From there, the top teams in the nation will compete in theElite Eightand theFinal Fourbefore the remaining two teams face off for the title of NCAA champion in Glendale, Arizona.
Last year, theUConn Huskiestook home the trophy, marking their fifth NCAA championship win, but this year, it’sanyone’s game.
Alternatively,the NCAA women’s basketball tournamentkicks off with the First Four on March 20 and will conclude with the NCAA championship game on Sunday, April 7 at 3 p.m. ET on ABC.
