G Flipis reflecting on their first year as partners withChrishell Stause.
On Thursday, the singer-songwriter, 30, spoke to PEOPLE at the G’Day USA Gala where they talked more about their relationship with Stause, 42, and what the partners are doing to celebrate their one-year anniversary.
“It’s great,” G Flip said. “We adore each other and we’re having so much fun and we’re excited for our future and we’re so cute together.”
“We have anniversaries for everything,” they continued. “Actually, last week was the anniversary of the first time we kissed, so that was cute. So we have lots of cute little anniversaries, but we always do something special. We like to go on little trips.”
They add: “We had a cute little time in London last week. We got massages and had a nice dinner together, but we always do something special. We always get all a bit lovey-dovey. I’m a hopeless romantic, so I get real into it.”

During the event, G Flip shared what makes their relationship with theSelling Sunsetstar so solid. They attribute that to their great communication. “We’re always traveling — we’re so good at making it work and doing FaceTimes all the time,” G Flip said.
“I’m on tour a lot and she’s got such a busy schedule, but we make it work so well and we’ve been solid from the get-go, even before we put the rings on, we were always very solid and I’m just very lucky and so fortunate to have her as my person and my partner,” they add.

Stause confirmed she was dating G Flip during theNetflix show’s season 5 reunionwhen moderatorTan Franceasked if she had been seeing anyone special since her breakup withJason Oppenheim.
The real estate agent explained that she met the musician,who identifies as non-binary, when she was asked to be in one of their music videos — theDays of Our Livesalum jumped at the opportunity due to her passion for acting.
Since then,the couple has moved in together, posted PDA-filled pictures on social media and even given each other tattoos.
