air travel porno . Is that a thing ? It should be . Whatever , we ’re using it — it ’s the arrant descriptor for this composite timelapse telecasting by movie maker Cy Kuckenbaker , captured at San Diego International Airport on Black Friday between 10:30 am and 3:00 pm .
Kuckenbaker describes his methods and motivationon his blog :
month ago I see an awesome photo on the Petapixel web enter which a photographer shot every sheet that landed at ? airdrome ? in a day then composited all the planing machine into one trope [ Kuckenbaker is referring toHo - Yeol Ryu ’s composite exposure of aeroplane landing at Hannover Airport ] . Which made me wonder if it could be done with TV ?

It turns out that it in spades can be done but is easiest with a pure blue sky and with the camera face up not toward the horizon . With an even blue desktop it ’s fairly easy to key out each airplane and put them together . The bridgework in this snapshot is an added clip lapse under the 1st Street bridge in San Diego .
Kuckenbaker says he was most surprised by the vaporous intensity of air traffic ( roughly 70 woodworking plane in ~ 4 hours ) , and the prevalence of Southwest Airlines ( fun fact : SW does n’t rely as to a great extent on the samehub - and - spokesystem typical of many American airlines , though San Diego is one of SW ’s “ focus ” cities . )
