Seems like jetpacks are n’t really the best alternative for longer distances . But then again , this was n’t Rossy ’s first time assay a prospicient - distance jetpack flight either , in fact , this 23 - mile trip would ’ve only been one mile longer than his previous ( and successful ) flight of steps over the English channel . Big departure , of course was that this one ended in bankruptcy despite start out with a jump from a plane .
