I was flipping through the November , 1966 issue ofSpace Worldmagazine when I bumble upon this advertising for the 1965 bookBeyond Tomorrow : The Next 50 year in SpacebyDandridge M. Cole , with art byRoy G. Scarfo . At 168 pages , with 53 full colouring crustal plate , 47 illustrations , 11 chart and an advertised listing terms of $ 7.50 , I ordered it directly .
The $ 7.50 price was no longer an selection ( I blame the economy ) , but it really is an awe-inspiring book of retro - futuristic fun . Stay tune as we take a look at this Holy Writ in the coming week .
