The plan to transform San Francisco into Gotham has been unfolding since October , with San Francisco ’s police force top dog , City Hall , and thousands of excited volunteers teaming up to make Miles ’ day . Andwhat a jam - packed day it ’ll be :
After rescue a damsel - in - distress from the Hyde Street cable television service - car tracks in Nob Hill , then enchant the Riddler in the turn of robbing a downtown hurdle , Batkid will delight lunch at the Burger Bar , near Union Square . Why ? The nefarious Penguin has just kidnapped a famous San Francisco mascot ( Lou Seal ) ! After apprehending the Penguin , Batkid will make a final stop at City Hall where the Mayor of San Francisco , Ed Lee , along with the Police Chief , will congratulate him on his daring exploit of justice and present him with a key to the city .
