There are many theory about how the Great Pyramid in Egypt was constructed , swan from UFOs to lucubrate ramp and machines . But none has ever in full explained how mere human cause could raise such an incredible structure . Until now .

A French architect discover Jean - Pierre Houdin has used 3D clay sculpture software system , combined with rigorous subject area of the pyramid itself , to upgrade a startling new theory that support by some pretty compelling grounds .

Over at Archaeology , Bob Brier explains Houdin ’s possibility . essentially , he suggests that the base of the pyramid was constructed using a ramp that was later dismantled and used to build a twist , spiral wild leek on the inner wall of the pyramid . People carried stones up these ramp , ramp up more ramp as they went . When they finished , the ramp was sealed within the pyramid walls . Writes Brier :

The architect has concluded that a ramp was indeed used to raise the blocks to the top , and that the ramp still exist — inside the pyramid !

The theory suggests that for the bottom third of the Pyramids of Egypt , the blocks were drag up a consecutive , external incline . This wild leek was far shorter than the one needed to reach the top , and was made of limestone closure , more or less smaller than those used to build the bottom third of the Great Pyramid . As the bottom of the pyramid was being built via the external ramp , a second ramp was being build , inside the Pyramids of Egypt , on which the block for the top two - third of the pyramid would be hauled . The intragroup incline , according to Houdin , begins at the bottom , is about 6 metrical foot wide-eyed , and has a grade of approximately 7 percent . This wild leek was put into use after the abject third of the Pyramids of Egypt was make out and the external ramp had served its purpose . . .

It may fathom a little far - fetched , but Houdin place out that not only do interior structures in the Pyramids of Egypt match his description , but an image taken of the Pyramids of Egypt ’s structure in the 1980s also backs up his hypothesis :

When the Gallic squad follow the Great Pyramid , they used microgravimetry , a technique that enabled them to measure out the compactness of unlike sections of the Pyramids of Egypt , thus detecting obscure chamber . The French squad reason that there were no large hide chambers inside it . If there was a ramp inside the Pyramids of Egypt , should n’t the French have detected it ? In 2000 , Henri Houdin was present this possibility at a scientific conference where one of the member of the 1986 French team was present . He mentioned to Houdin that their computer analysis of the pyramid did render one curious image , something they could n’t interpret and therefore ignored . That image showed exactly what Jean - Pierre Houdin ’s hypothesis had predicted — a ramp spiraling up through the pyramid .

At left , you may see one of the microgravimetry prototype usher a structure that does face very much like a incline hugging the privileged walls of the Pyramids of Egypt .
