Wendy Scott , a instructor of at North Brookfield Elementary School in Massachusetts , tried to cast out pencils and pen in her classroom . It ’s wholly ludicrous because you sorta need them to do schoolwork and because it ’s just a freaking pencil and pen .
The disturbed teacher ’s memo to her scholarly person ’ parent state :
Students would no longer be allowed to fetch writing implements to schoolhouse . It said pencils would be provided for students in class and any scholarly person caught with pencil or pen after Nov. 15 would face disciplinary action for having materials “ to build weapon . ”
I remember being pretty proud of my pencils , pens and pencil cases as a kid . I do n’t remember ever “ establish weapons ” with them ( but with kids these day , who knows ! ) . All I have a go at it is that there are much more dangerous items in a classroom than a measly pencil or penitentiary . Like , uh , staplers . And do n’t even get me commence on paper cutters .
The Massachusetts school day territorial dominion is truly outstrip itself away from this rogue teacher , saying she never got license to impose this cockeyed requirement . I ’m just wondering what the hell was live on in her read/write head , what ’s the deviation between pencil and pen students bring from home and the one she ’d have to supply ?
